Katharine graduated from the University of Wales in Cardiff in 2001. I went on to work in adult medicine in various specialties throughout Wales, obtaining my postgraduate MRCP qualification in 2006. I then worked in Haematology as a Registrar before deciding to train as a GP. I completed my MRCGP in 2011. Following this I worked as a locum and then as a Partner in a semi-rural Surgery. My husband and I then came to Perth to work in October 2016. I enjoy the variety that General Practice brings, and the constant learning and challenges. I obtained my Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health allowing me to insert implants and coils. I enjoy women's health, elderly care and general adult medicine in particular.
