Dr Kate Watson graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2012 with an MBBS (Hons 1) and was also honoured to be awarded the UNSW David de Carle and John Edmonds Prizes for Medicine. She completed her hospital training at Concord and Canterbury Hospitals prior to gaining her fellowship in General Practice. Dr Watson has also completed a Diploma of Child Health and has undertaken the FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive & Sexual Health (for women). She is accredited to insert and remove Implanon contraceptive devices.
Dr Watson thoroughly enjoys the diversity of General Practice and strives to build positive relationships with all her patients. She is particularly interested in preventative medicine, women’s & children’s health, and sexual health for women. Dr Watson is also developing skills in dermatology and is working towards the RACGP Certificate of Primary Care Dermatology.
