Caring for the person, not just treating illness, best describes Kate’s relationship with her patients.
Kate joins the Sapphire team from a busy practice in Queanbeyan where she specialised in Women's Health, Children's Health and wholistic care of Mental Health. She has worked in anaesthetics, emergency departments and is a course director for the NSW Resuscitation Council teaching advanced life support skills to doctors, nurses and paramedics.
Her ability to put medicine into plain English has also seen her receive a teaching excellence award from the Australian National University Medical School. Rural practice has always been Kate’s dream and she is looking forward to being a part of the local community with her young family.
