Dr Kate Newland completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Adelaide in 2005. Following her internship, Kate spent a year at the Royal Darwin Hospital gaining experience in Indigenous Health. Kate undertook her dermatology training in Adelaide, completing her fellowship examinations in 2013. She spent six months at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and St Vincent's Hospital in 2014 gaining experience in cutaneous lymphoma, during which time she published articles in a number of journals. Kate is interested in all aspects of medical and surgical dermatology. She is a visiting medical specialist at Royal Adelaide Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre.
