Kate obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland in 2007. She obtained fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012. Kate has worked as a General Practitioner in medical practices in Pomona and Cooroy since 2012, and currently holds a position as a Medical Educator Coordinator with GP Training Queensland. She is also a preferred antenatal provider for Sunshine Coast University Hospital. Kate’s special interests include preventative health and women’s health.
