Initially having commenced training as an emergency physician, Dr France changed to the South Australian anaesthesia training scheme in 2003. Anaesthetic training commenced in Adelaide, continued in Darwin and was completed at Westmead hospital, Sydney. She undertook a provisional fellowship year in paediatric anaesthesia at Westmead Childrens hospital, Sydney.
Dr France's areas of interest include anaesthesia for thoracic surgery, ENT surgery, anaesthesia for patients with difficult airways, and specialised sedation techniques for plastic/cosmetic surgery.
