General Practice

I graduated from Monash University in Melbourne in 1996 with Honors and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2002, having completed hospital terms in paediatrics, psychiatry, cardiology, aged care/rehabilitation, emergency medicine, general medicine and surgery before moving into general practice, gaining experience in rural, city fringe and suburban practices.

I moved to Sydney in 2004 and have enjoyed my work as a GP in the Inner West immensely. I particularly value the opportunity general practice has given me to develop ongoing patient relationships, and it has been a privilege to be a witness to the lives of my many patients in that time.

I am committed to the education of the next generation of doctors, and have been actively involved for over 10 years in teaching medical students from UNSW, The University of Sydney and The University of Notre Dame.

I also have a long affiliation with GP Synergy, taking part in the vocational learning that training GPs undertake in-practice.
