Dr Karin Reinhardt graduated in medicine from the University of Sydney in 1968. She worked in a number of different capacities until 1991 when she embarked on psychiatric training, which she completed in 1996. Her dissertation was in post-traumatic stress and this has remained her sub-speciality.
Dr Reinhardt was appointed as staff psychiatrist at St John of God Richmond Hospital in 1996 and has maintained her interest in treating patients in the designated post-traumatic stress disorder ward. She also has expertise in general adult psychiatry, treating psychotic disorders, mood disorders and addictions.
