Dr Justin Webb (Orthopaedic Surgeon)
Dr Justin Webb is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in minimally invasive, arthroscopic ligament reconstruction of the knee, sports injuries, hip and knee replacement, and orthopaedic trauma. He utilises modern techniques in his assessment and treatment, including computer assisted surgery, and offers a day surgery option for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction.
With Orthopaedics SA, Dr Webb consults and operates privately at Memorial Medical Centre, Calvary Central Districts Hospital, Ashford Specialist Centre and North Eastern Community Hospital. He is a Visiting Medical Specialist at the Royal Adelaide and Modbury Hospitals, a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association, and serves as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Adelaide.
After completing initial studies at the University of Adelaide in 2003, Dr Webb obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He undertook two sub-specialty fellowships, the first specialising in surgery of the knee – in particular, arthroscopic ligament reconstruction – with Dr Justin Roe at the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre, and the second at St Michael’s Hospital (University of Toronto, Canada) specialising in complex joint replacement of the hip and knee. Dr Webb continues with active involvement in these areas via both his medical practice and through further research.
