Dr Julie O’Connell is an integrative general practitioner (GP) who combines traditional medical practices and complimentary medicine including reflexology, mindfulness, and Reiki. Julie has a mind body approach to her consultations.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in Perth, W.A., Julie spent many years based in country general practices in Victoria and Western Australia. She also spent several years as a psychiatric registrar and has experience in emergency,obstetrics and paediatrics. Julie is a qualified reflexologist and reiki master in the Usui Method.
Julie enjoys working with naturopaths to support patients healing and is a member of ACNEM Australia. Julie supports people to achieve their goals through compounded medication and bioidentical hormones, and works with local Compounding pharmacies.
Julie’s wide-ranging experience across various facets of medicine, combined with her passion for alternative healing methods, enables her to deliver well-informed diagnoses and effective treatment based on a holistic approach.
