Dr Julie Burke graduated from the University of Queensland in 1985. She worked in metropolitan hospitals for 4 years, including a year as GP registrar in Paediatrics and Geriatric Medicine.
After working and traveling overseas (UK), Dr Burke settled in Central Queensland and commenced as a full time GP with Yeppoon Family Practice in 1994.
Dr Burke’s interest in Travel Medicine lead to the practice becoming a founding member of the Travel Medical Alliance in 2005. This is an essential service for Central Queensland as it allows patients access to up to date travel advice and kits for their travel plans.
Dr Burke also has a keen interest in women’s health and runs a special Women’s Health clinic at Complete Skin Solutions.
