Dr Jonasson received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Southern Oregon University before moving to Australia in 2000. She then studied medicine at Melbourne University and did her internship and training at Ballarat Base Hospital. She also has a Certificate in Dermotoscopy and Skin Cancer Surgery.
She has worked in General Practice in Creswick since 2010 and started doing skin checks and skin cancer sugery at Australian Skin Face Body in 2015. She has a special interest in skin cancer detection, treatment and prevention.
