Growing up in Melbourne, she graduated from Western Sydney University, and her early training was undertaken at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Concord Hospital in NSW. She went on to complete further training in the field of Endocrinology at Canberra Hospital, Concord Hospital, and Geelong Endocrinology and Diabetes.
Jovitta has experience in a broad range of endocrine disorders, and has worked with experts in the field in obesity medicine and bone disease. She has presented her own research in diabetes at both national and international conferences, and is currently undertaking a Masters in Reproductive Medicine. She welcomes referrals in all aspects of endocrinology*, and her special interests include bone disease, obesity-related disease, thyroid disorders, and women’s health issues including menopause and PCOS.
Outside of work, Jovitta enjoys learning about history and economics, spending time with loved ones, and occasionally dog sitting.
