Paul studied at Queens University, Belfast & qualified in 1983. He completed his post graduate training in Northern Ireland before moving to Australia in 1990. He spent 10 years in rural General Practice, Obsteteric and inpatient medical care for a population of 2500. He found the opportunity to be part of the community & provide continuity of care for patients admitted to hospital both challenging & very rewarding. In 2000 he moved to Moruya because of educational needs of his family & has endeavoured to continue a holistic approach to medicine by combining General Practice with Accident & Emergency & a VMO position at Moruya Hospital
