Dr John Crowley joined the practice in September 2015. John studied medicine in University College Cork, Ireland. He worked in Irish hospitals for 4 years in medicine, surgery, women’s health and psychiatry before specialising in General Practice. In 2014, John travelled to London to study Occupational Medicine in the Royal College of Physicians. He enjoys workplace health promotion and disease prevention as well as managing your return to work after illness or injury. Travel medicine and vaccinations consultations are also part of John’s remit. He is a keen sportsman and has a special interest in Sports and Exercise medicine, completing a master’s degree in 2010. He has published research articles on male and female sporting injuries. John does Dermatology consultations and is skilled in biopsy and minor surgical procedures. He has further postgraduate qualifications in Paediatrics and Medicine for the Elderly.
