Like lots of people at CMC, John likes the challenge of balancing all aspects of General Practice with being actively involved with his family’s pursuits – coaching and administering in Junior Rugby as well as trying to remain silent on the netball sidelines. He’s even starting to rate himself as a surfer. He has been practicing that art of balancing since starting at CMC in 1997 and a Practice Partner since 1998. He has always had an extra interest in Paediatrics and Child’s Health, but has in recent years John has taken an extra interest in the world of Travel Medicine targeting the special needs of the intending, and returning traveller abroad. In fact, he is one of the only accredited Yellow Fever vaccinators on the southside of Brisbane, saving the intending traveller from having to journey into the city to receive the required vaccination and its certificate.
