Dr John Casey is a consultant haematologist at Icon Cancer Centre Townsville. He completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours and Bachelor of Medicine/ Bachelor of Surgery through University of Queensland.
His specialist training was completed through The Townville Hospital, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Dr Casey has a special interest in thrombosis and haemostasis and in other non-malignant presentations including cytopenias, myeloproliferative neoplasms and transfusion medicine. He has experience in the management of malignant conditions including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
