Dr Joanna Lee is an Australian trained Neurosurgeon working at Mater Hospital, who also consults at Liverpool Hospital Pain Clinic where she holds an appointment as both Neurosurgeon and Pain Fellow. Her interests are: general Neurosurgery (Spine, Neuro-oncology) and Pain Medicine (Spine, Neuromodulation). She spend 2 years in Biomedical Science at Monash University before going on to complete her undergraduate medical studies from the University of Melbourne in 2003. She then undertook Neurosurgical training in Sydney, obtaining RACS fellowship in Neurosurgery in 2014. Dr Lee is currently completing a fellowship in Pain Medicine at Liverpool Hospital. She is a fellow of Royal Australian College of Surgeons (RACS), member of the Neurosurgical Association of Australia (NSA) and International Association of Pain (IASP). Joanna is also fluent in spoken conversational mandarin.
