I graduated from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa in 1979. I undertook internship at Coronation Hospital, Johannesburg in 1980 and as a Senior House officer in Paediatrics and Intensive Care at the Baragwanath Hospital, Johannesburg in South Africa in 1981.

I entered General Practice in Johannesburg from 1982 until 1987. I went to Manchester, United Kingdom in 1987 -1988 and worked as a Community medical Officer in Family Planning and Child Health in the North Manchester Health Authority. While in Manchester I obtained a certificate from The Joint Committee on Contraception. I returned to South Africa in 1988 to continue in General Practice and in The Family Planning Association as a Medical Officer until I immigrated to Australia in 1990.

From 1990 till 1994, I worked in Broken Hill, NSW in General Practice and relocated to Brisbane in April of 1994 where I continue to work in General Practice at Corinda Family Doctor and with sessions at Chapel Hill Surgery until 2007 (Corinda family doctor closed down in 2007) and then continued working at Chapel Hill Surgery until 2011, before relocating to Kenmore General Practice during the floods of 2011 and have continued here. I am interested in all aspects of General Practice with special interests in Women’s health, Geriatrics and General Paediatrics.

Works every second Saturday.
