Jo-Anne has been working in general practice since 2009 after completing a Bachelor of Science with Honours at the University of Western Australia and her MBBS with Honours at the University of Melbourne. Jo-Anne has a particular interest in diabetes prevention and management and chronic disease management more widely. She is a member of the RACGP National Faculty of Specific Interests- Diabetes and also works as a GP advisor for the Inner North West Melbourne Medicare Local. She combines her clinical role with research at the University of Melbourne where she is currently completing her PhD.
