Jillian finished her university studies at JCU in Townsville in 2008, before moving to Toowoomba for internship and rural South West Queensland to complete her GP training in 2014. She has relocated to Cairns recently and is excited to be joining the Stratford Medical Centre. Jillian enjoys all areas of general practice, but particular Paediatrics, Women’s Health and management of chronic disease. She loves family medicine, and the continuity of care that working in general practice brings. Jillian is also involved in medical education of trainee GP’s through GMT and ACRRM. Outside of work she is passionate about painting, running and spending time with her partner and young Border Collie dog.
