Dr Jia Ni Zhu, 'Jarnie' to her patients and friends, is an experienced doctor with a wide range of skills. Originally from New Zealand, Jarnie completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medical Science in 2009 at the University of Melbourne. She also took up the opportunity in her final year of studies to go to The School of Medicine at the University of Cambridge in the UK and her research has been previously published in the Medical Journal of Australia.
Jarnie gained invaluable experience in paediatrics, gynaecology, obstetrics, cardiology, endocrinology, psychiatry and surgery while working in hospitals within the Southern Health Network (including Monash Medical Centre). She is a supervisor for General Practice registrars and an Examiner for the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners. Since 2015, Jarnie has been providing quality and dedicated care for her patients in and around Elwood.
