Dr Gerry O'Driscoll is the inaugural Professor of Cardiology at the University of Notre Dame, Western Australia. Widely published, he has a long-standing interest in research and teaching, has served on national committees in clinical cardiology and is a reviewer for a number of international medical & scientific journals. As an internationally recognised expert in the management of heart failure, Professor O'Driscoll has been involved in the development of mechanical circulatory support devices. He led the West Australian Advanced Heart Failure & Cardiac Transplant Services from its establishment in 1994 until 2010.
He currently consults from our Nedlands, Midland and Mount Lawley sites.
