Dr Jennifer Zhou is a consultant cardiologist with expertise in the management of a broad range of cardiovascular conditions.
She completed her medical degree at Monash University as the top graduate in her cohort, receiving numerous awards in recognition of her achievements. She subsequently undertook physician training at The Alfred Hospital followed by advanced Cardiology training at The Alfred Hospital and The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
In addition to her clinical work Dr Zhou is actively involved in cardiovascular research. She is currently completing a PhD through The Alfred Hospital and Monash University supported by prestigious National Heart Foundation and National Health and Medical Research Council scholarships. Her research is focused on improving outcomes for patients with aortic stenosis and heart failure - two common and serious heart conditions affecting older adults.
Dr Zhou is known for her warm and patient centred approach. She is committed to working closely with patients and referring clinicians to provide high quality evidence based care and to ensuring that patients feel supported and well informed throughout their treatment journey.
