Dr Jennifer Green is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in Hand, Wrist, and Microsurgery.
She was educated in NSW and received her medical degree from the University of Newcastle in 1989.
Dr Green completed her residency and advanced surgical training in Sydney and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1997.
She travelled overseas and undertook 18 months of fellowship training in Hand Surgery at the Indiana Hand Centre, USA and Institut de la Main, Paris, France.
Dr Green has practised as a Hand, Wrist, and Microsurgeon in Sydney for almost 10 years. Prior to moving to Brisbane with her family in 2009 she held a full time consultant position at Sydney Hospital Hand Unit, the largest specialty Hand Surgery Unit in Australia. Dr Green practised at the Wesley Private Hospital in Brisbane for 7 years before relocating permanently to Canberra with her husband, a senior RAAF pilot, and her children in 2016.
Dr Green practises at the Canberra Private Hospital and operates at Calvary John James Hospital, National Capital Private Hospital and Canberra Private Hospital.
Dr Green is a member of the Australian Hand Surgery Society & the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
