Dr Jen Delle-Chiaie is a GP registrar who trained overseas after her family migrated from Australia to Argentina when she was eight. Back in Australia, she developed medical skills in a rural setting. She initially planned to specialise in women’s and children’s health but four years at Ballarat Base Hospital prompted an interest in treating the whole family, and chronic illness. Dr Delle-Chiaie is an approachable doctor who enjoys providing continuity of care and getting to know patients. Her easy-going manner makes people comfortable enough to open up and discuss any health issue – in English or Spanish! When she’s not in work mode, she’s an active mum of two young girls. The family enjoys camping and bike rides.
