As a Clinical Director at IVFAustralia, Dr Persson has more than 20 years’ experience in both male and female fertility issues, and has established a centre for excellence for male infertility.
He is one of the few reproductive endocrinologists in Australia who can help men with azoospermia (zero sperm count), using sophisticated microscopic sperm extraction procedures. He is also a leading expert in microsurgical vasectomy reversal.
Dr Persson trained and worked in Amsterdam before obtaining his Masters of Reproductive Medicine. In 1995 he received his Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and his Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI).
