A graduate of a London Medical School with surgical training in the UK, Jeanne migrated to Australia in 1987 with the intention of pursuing a career in Sports Medicine. She initially spent nine years as Director of Emergency Medicine at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne prior to commencing her Sports Medicine practice at the Corio Bay Sports Medicine Centre in Geelong. During that time she also worked at other Sports Medicine Centres in Melbourne and provided surgical assistance to Orthopaedic surgeons in both Geelong and Melbourne. She has supplied medical cover for a number of sports including AFL (Medical Officer Geelong FC and North Melbourne FC), VFL, NBL and SEABL Basketball, hockey, triathlons and provided services at the Sydney Olympics and Melbourne Commonwealth Games. Her sporting passion remains Hockey but she has played competitive squash and is also a weekend warrior in golf and tennis.
