Dr Jay Natalwala is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist. He consults in all aspects of gynaecology but his main interests are in the management of infertility, advanced minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy) and endometriosis care. He manages the Incontinence and Urodynamic Unit at Glengarry Private Hospital.
Dr Natalwala studied medicine in Cardiff, UK and specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology after training in Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide. He also completed the Masters of Reproductive Medicine degree from the University of New South Wales.
Dr Natalwala has been in specialist practice since 1996, and ceased private obstetrics in 2004. This allowed him to concentrate on a Gynaecology only service. He has been the Clinical Director of Fertility North since 2003.
Dr Natalwala has been involved for many years in teaching and mentoring of trainees in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialisation programme. He is also a Clinical Mentor to medical undergraduate students from Notre Dame Medical School.
