Dr James Millsom is an experienced general practitioner with a special interest in skin cancer medicine. Dr Millsom has worked predominantly in hospital and general practice environments, and for the past few years has focused a large part of his work on the diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of skin cancer. He holds several postgraduate qualifications in skin cancer medicine, surgery, and dermoscopy, and regularly keeps his skills up to date with university-certified training.
Dr Millsom is experienced with dermoscopy, skin excisions, biopsies, cryotherapy, skin cancer surgery, and suturing. He is interested in the early detection of skin cancer and educating his patients in skin cancer prevention. His work is both challenging and rewarding, as there are not many other fields of medicine where a doctor can make an immediate impactful change to a patient's health!
