Having graduated in Medicine & Surgery from the University of Colombo, I underwent specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the UK. My advanced training was in the fields of Urogynaecology and Vaginal Surgery. I practiced as a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in the National Health Service UK working in London and Surrey before moving to Australia with my family in 2013. Having fallen in love with the Aussie way of life and as an avid sportsman I have embraced the lifestyle of this sporting nation.
I have been a Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Ballarat Base Hospital since June 2013 providing an extensive service for the community of Ballarat and the surrounding regional areas. In September 2013, I commenced clinics and operating in Stawell catering to a large population of women in remote parts of the state where previously access to a specialist gynaecologist had been a huge problem.
