Maven Dental Boyd Street welcomed Dr Ioanna Millis to the team as a friendly, supportive dentist in June 2017. Dr Millis graduated from Griffith University and holds a Bachelor of Oral Health and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry. Her career has seen her gain a broad range of experience working across public and private practices in urban and rural Queensland and New South Wales.
Dr Millis is passionate about helping her patients to recover a bright, confident smile. She particularly loves working with children and believes instilling good oral hygiene practices at an early age supports positive, life-long oral health. While enjoying all aspects of dentistry, Dr Millis has a keen interest in oral surgery, fixed prosthodontics and paediatric dentistry.
Staying up to date with the latest developments in dental treatments and trends Dr Millis regularly attends continuing professional development courses to further her skills. She is additionally a member of the Australian Dental Association.
Outside of work, Dr Millis likes getting outdoors and going for a surf in beautiful Coolangatta.
