Born in South Africa, Ilse immigrated to Australia in 2003 and obtained the RACGP fellowship in 2012. Ilse joined Surrey Hills Medical Centre in 2014. As a GP Ilse feels privileged that patients allow her in to a very personal space and as a result she aims to approach patient care respectfully and holistically. Ilse enjoys most aspects of general practice, but has a particular interest in women’s health and skin cancer medicine. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her energetic family and bush walking.
