Dr Ie-Wen Sim is an endocrinologist whose special interests include andrology and reproductive endocrinology.
After graduating from the University of Melbourne with First Class Honours in 2004, Ie-Wen completed his residency at St Vincent’s Hospital. He subsequently completed specialty training in endocrinology at Western Health and St Vincent’s Hospital, before undertaking additional training in clinical andrology and reproductive endocrinology at Monash Medical Centre.
Ie-Wen holds a Bachelor of Medical Science degree, is the author of several peer-reviewed publications, and has presented at numerous national endocrinology conferences. He has been involved in clinical andrology research at Prince Henry’s institute, and is currently undertaking PhD studies at the University of Melbourne in the area of metabolic bone disease. Ie-Wen is currently a recipient of the prestigious NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarship.
