Dr Ian Mitchell has returned to our team at Tedder Avenue Medical Practice. Dr Mitchell graduated from the University of NSW Medical School in February 1986, Ian worked in many hospitals in Sydney and Illawarra Area Health Service. After 3 years in the hospital system he entered private practice in Padstow, Sydney which is where he grew up. Ian Mitchell has broad experience in general medical practice with a dedicated interest in assisting specialist surgeons in cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, vascular surgery and plastic surgery over the last 20 years. Dr Mitchell has extensive surgical experience and is proficient in cosmetic procedures having performed over 1700 blepharoplasties and 800 male gynaecomastia surgeries. Procedures performed by Dr Mitchell include: Blepharoplasty* (eye lifts) Ptosis surgery* (corrective surgery for drooping upper eyelids) PRP Injections Cosmetic Injectibles Skin cancer treatment.
