Dr Hugh Roberts is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He completed his medical degree through the University of Melbourne and undertook specialist training at many tertiary referral hospitals including the Royal Melbourne Hospital, the Alfred Hospital and St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne. He has a special interest in the early detection and management of skin cancer and has published numerous articles on this topic in peer reviewed journals. He is a consultant dermatologist at the Victorian Melanoma Service, a multidisciplinary melanoma unit at the Alfred Hospital and also attends the melanoma clinic at the Skin and Cancer Foundation of Victoria. Dr Roberts also has a interest in cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery and is a PBS authorised injector of Botulinum Toxin for axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive underarm sweating). Dr Roberts is currently the Director of Training for the Victorian Faculty of the Australasian College of Dermatologists as well as a member of the National Trainee Committee. He is a board member of The Skin and Cancer Foundation of Victoria and participates in the mentor scheme for dermatology registrars.
