Dr Huey Miin Tan grew up in Malaysia and completed high school in Melbourne. She graduated with honors from the University of Melbourne in 1993. After graduating she worked in various hospitals in Melbourne (including Royal Children’s Hospital and Fairfield Hospital) and country Victoria, gaining a wide range of experience. She obtained her Diploma of Obstetrics in 1996 and Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practice in 1999. Her main interests are in Paediatrics, Women’s Health and Preventative Health. Huey Miin has been working in Eltham for the last 20 years and recently moved to Surrey Hills. She has three teenage sons and enjoys her garden.
