Dr Maruszak received his medical training and PhD at the Medical University of Gdansk. For nine years he worked at the Albion Centre, Prince of Wales Hospital, in Sydney and was involved in research with the Royal London Hospital, Queen Mary University. His clinical interests include HIV medicine (S100 prescriber), hepatitis, sexual health, men's health, transgender health, and substance dependence - particularly in smoking cessation.
