Born and brought up in the South West of the United Kingdom, Dr. Henry Seddon is an enthusiastic and knowledgable doctor with over 10 years of experience in a broad range of medical specialties including General Practice.
On a background of a bachelor’s degree in Anatomy and Physiology at the University of Leeds, Henry completed his Medical training in the historic castle town of Warwick, graduating in 2008. After completing hospital physician training to Registrar level, Henry carefully considered a career in Aged Care, Neurology or Dermatology, however he felt General Practice would provide the variety and challenge he eagerly sought.
In the United Kingdom Henry completed final diplomate memberships to both the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of General Practice. He has further diplomas in family planning, sexual healthcare and children’s health and he isdelighted to have recently been awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice.
Outside of work, Henry is kept busy by his two small children and the general chaos of family life! He and his partner have a love of good food and the outdoors. His interests include cricket and tennis, and he is keen to reacquaint himself with dinghy sailing which he was introduced to at a young age. Henry is an enthusiastic, and very occasionally successful, fisherman and loves history, especially social history.
Henry and his partner fell in love with Australia as a backpacker, and both his parents regaled him with tales of their brief work as GPs in New South Wales in the 1980s. He relishes the opportunity of living and working on the Mornington Peninsula, and is committed to offering an excellent standard of personalised medical services to it’s people.
