Dr Hema Arvind completed her postgraduate training in Ophthalmology in India, and underwent post specialist training in Glaucoma at Sankara Nethralaya, one of the largest eye hospitals in India, then at the Sydney Eye Hospital. She worked as a consultant in India before moving to Australia and was awarded fellowship of the RANZCO. Her specific interests include Glaucoma, Cataract and Visual Electrophysiology. She is an active researcher, with several scientific publications and a PhD. She is clinical senior lecturer at the Macquarie University.
