Dr Wainwright graduated from St.George’s, University of London in 1998. Following a varied hospital specialty career, she has been practicing as a GP since 2003. Her post graduate qualifications include a Diploma in Paediatrics and a Masters level Diploma of Medical Teaching.
A true Generalist, Helen takes a holistic, broad and non-judgmental approach in her care. Her areas of special interests are: Psychological well-being, Stress Management and Mental Health; Sexual Health, Women’s Health and Child Health; She is also accredited to provide Shared Antenatal Care with Royal North Shore Hospital.

Helen is married with 2 children: she stresses than work life balance is key to a happy life. When not at work she likes to keep active enjoying the great outdoors, practicing yoga, painting canvases, playing the piano, cooking and eating well: and socialising with friends.
