Dr Maleham is an experienced rural General Practitioner (GP), working in private practice in Dubbo, NSW. She is aware of the importance of mentoring the next generation of health care professionals and is regularly involved in supervising medical students and registrars. Heather is a practice principal and director of Dubbo Health Hub.
Dr Maleham graduated from Griffith University (Gold Coast) in 2000, with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, completing her first class Honours in Molecular Biology in 2001. She subsequently completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at The University of Sydney, graduating in 2005. Heather’s General Practice Specialty training was undertaken in Western NSW and she was awarded her Fellowship (FRACGP) in 2010. In 2019 she completed her FPS training.
