Dr Hayden Morris specialises in knee surgery and sports injuries. He is an expert in arthroscopy, reconstruction and knee replacement surgery (partial and full). His surgery includes innovative techniques such as autologous cartilage implantation, meniscal replacement and minimally invasive knee replacement. He performs over 1200 surgical procedures each year. Mr Morris obtained his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 1983, and completed his orthopedic training in Victoria. He was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1992. He has studied in Europe, Britain and the USA, where he specialised in musculoskeletal onconolgy and knee surgery. Mr Morris currently consults Richmond Football Club, Geelong Football Club, St Kilda Football Club, Melbourne Storm Rugby League team, Melbourne Tigers Basketball team and the Australian Wallabies Rugby Union team. He is also a Senior Tutor at the Centre for Health, Exercise and Sports Medicine (CHESM), University of Melbourne.
Dr Hayden Morris is a director of the Melbourne Knee Fellowship, responsible for training overseas specialists in the art of knee surgery. He is also a regular presenter at local, national and international forums.
