Hamish is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with sub speciality expertise in Foot and Ankle Surgery.
He completed his medical degree at The University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand in 1998. Hamish went on to complete his orthopaedic training in New Zealand and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2009.
Hamish then undertook a sub-speciality fellowship in Foot and Ankle surgery in Melbourne involving the assessment, management and surgery of foot and ankle conditions.
He has also undertaken a fellowship in Sports surgery in Auckland, New Zealand and Paediatric Orthopaedics at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.
Hamish manages all facets of foot and ankle surgery, including bunions, sporting injuries, the management of arthritic conditions and foot deformity.
He also has an interest in foot and ankle trauma and has an appointment at The Alfred Hospital where he is involved in the management of these problems.
