Dr Hamid Assaf graduated from the University of Damascus in 1987 and studied internal medicine in France in 1997. Dr Assaf special interests include diabetes, skin, paediatrics and internal medicine. he speaks several languages including French and Arabic. Dr Assaf is the medical director of the Moonee Ponds centre to which he conducts centre meetings with colleagues to assist with quality improvements. Outside of work Dr Assaf enjoys spending time with his family which include his wife and two sons
