Dr Kiyork is an Australian Orthopaedic association trained orthopaedic surgeon who holds fellowships with both the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
Dr Kiyork has a special interest in surgery of the hip and knee. This includes joint replacement of the hip and knee joint and arthroscopic surgery and reconstruction of the knee. In addition, he treats and provides surgery for trauma and sporting injuries.
Dr Kiyork operates at both The Sydney Adventist Hospital and Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai (public) Hospital.
Rooms locations for consultations are at Northside Orthopaedics at The San Clinic Wahroonga, Peninsula Orthopaedics at Dee Why as well as consulting rooms in Mona Vale. He sees both privately insured and public patients being able to offer surgery to both.
Having completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of NSW in 1990 he commenced his internship and residencies. He commenced orthopaedic registrar posts in 1994 and commenced advanced training on the Australian Orthopaedic Training Scheme in 1997, completing it and successfully obtaining his fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons at the end of 2000. Following this he worked as a Fellow in Dublin, Republic of Ireland before returning to Australia and then also undertaking another Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction in the ACT.
Dr Kiyork was an Orthopaedic Consultant at Mona Vale Hospital from 2003 until 2013. He has been an Orthopaedic Consultant at Hornsby Hospital and Sydney Adventist Hospital since 2007, remaining active in both hospitals. At Hornsby Hospital Dr Kiyork is the Director of Training for the Advanced Orthopaedic Trainees.
