Greg has joined NEU part-time in 2016. He comes from UCLA Hospital, Los Angeles, California where he was Assistant Professor in Surgery and Director of the UCLA Comprehensive Kidney Stone Center which specialized in preventing and treating kidney stones.
Greg is an international lecturer who specializes in kidney stone prevention, treatment and reconstruction also providing kidney stone dietary advice. He performs procedures such as donor nephrectomy, kidney exchanges, robotic kidney surgery and ureteric injuries using surgical lasers and has been recruited by Austin Health where he is now part of the kidney transplant team. Greg also specializes in prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia.
His clinical research includes: minimally invasive BPH treatments, laparoscopic partial nephrectomy, and stem-cell tissue engineering. In 2015 he was featured in a Wall Street Journal article on Kidney Stone prevention.
Greg earned his undergraduate degree in 1996 from Cornell University in New York, his Urology degree in 2007 from UCLA in Los Angeles, and his Minimally Invasive and Laparoscopic Surgery fellowship in 2010 at Austin Health in Melbourne.
