Dr Harris graduated from Melbourne University in 1983, completing renal physician training in 1990. He has been employed as a visiting medical specialist at Bendigo Hospital since 1991 as a renal and general physician. This includes support and supervision of medical and renal residents and registrars during ward rounds and at a weekly outpatient clinic. He is also involved with student teaching at Bendigo medical school. He has been in private practice since 1991 with rooms situated at 145 Arnold St across the road from the Bendigo Hospital. He admits private patients to SJOG Hospital Bendigo as well as BHCG. His medical interests include renal medicine, hypertension, salt and water/ electrolyte issues and general medicine including the complex patient with multiple medical issues such as diabetes and cardiac/renal problems.
