Dr Graham Morgan was born in Newcastle and lived his early years in Newcastle, Wollongong & Sydney. He studied medicine at University of NSW, graduating in early 1977 and then worked for three years in various roles at the Prince of Wales/Prince Henry group of hospitals.
In 1980, Dr Morgan travelled to Zimbabwe where he worked as a registrar in obstetrics at Harare Hospital for one year. In that time he delivered in excess of 1,000 babies. After returning to Australia he worked in locum positions throughout NSW, QLD and New Zealand and then at General Practices in Jamboree Heights and Brassall. He has been a Senior Examiner with the Australian Medical Council since 1996. After moving to The Gap to live, the opportunity came in 1999 to work at Alderley Clinic. He is married with two daughters and a granddaughter, three chickens, two guinea pigs and a guppy.
