Dr Baro graduated from Monash University in 1981, and has since had a broad range of experience, starting in the military with aviation medicine, industrial, disaster and emergency medicine. He followed this up with additional training and post-graduate courses in psychotherapy (including sleep therapy), and grief management and remains active in programs relating to mental health. Dr Baro also has a keen interest in radiology, and gained much experience and knowledge about disease processes and their investigation, providing great insight into the management of medicine in general practice. His other special interests include travel, sports and preventative medicine.
